The hardback edition of In the Dark of Night will be available on March 6th, 2026!
I have been working on formatting the book for hardcover edition. As I had issues with the paperback edition, which Amazon had to fix since it was on their end, I never had time to do a hardback edition. Now, as I have had time to work on it, it will be available to mark the one year anniversary since the book was released.
As this is being published through KDP and Amazon, the hardback is a case laminate hardback.
What ha been done so far:
I have formatted the manuscript for hardback publication, as well as fixing some small issues that were found. Since the majority of the work has already been done by pat me when formatting the paperback, all I had to do was fix margins and the trim size. I also decided to make the font slightly bigger.
What is left to do for the hardback edition:
Adapting the cover for hardcover publication is the next thing I need to do. Once that is done, I can preview the whole book and then decide the pricing. I am hoping I can get a preview version of the hardback edition to check the margins and printing before it goes live.
So, with any luck, I will be able to sort out the cover of the hardback edition this week. Hopefully, this will release on time!
